A tiny, mat-forming groundcover with starry blue flowers and fine green foliage. Excellent for terrariums or filling spaces between pavers.

We typically grow Pratia Pedunculata
in plant form in 4″ and 6″ clay pots

Optimum Temperature:

55-75 degrees Fahrenheit 

Characteristics:

A low-growing perennial groundcover with tiny green leaves and small, star-shaped blue-lavender flowers

Light:

Indoor: Bright, indirect light to partial light

Water:

Indoor: Prefers consistently moist, well-draining soil; don’t allow it to completely dry out

Outdoor: Keep soil evening moist 

Fertalizer:

Feed lightly with a balanced, diluted fertilizer every 4–6 weeks during the growing season

Common Pests/Issues:

Pests: Slugs or snails

 
Diseases: Root rot

Additional Notes:

In northern climates, bring plants indoors to overwinter. Prune any dead or dying leaves and tissue from the plant before brining indoors. Observe over the next couple of weeks and treat with neem oil if pests are found to be present. Ensure plant gets enough light and is away from direct air flow/heat
